This symbolizes the inherent duality of life – joy and sorrow, success and failure, light and darkness. The text emphasizes that both are inevitable aspects of existence, and resisting them only leads to suffering.

Learning: I used to get easily discouraged by setbacks, feeling like my happiness hinged solely on good things happening. But the Gita taught me to accept the bad as an integral part of life.
